Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix announced that they are working on a new game from Tomb Raider series. So far we do not know the release date, what equipment the game will be released on, what the title will be and what the plot will focus on. Game is a mystery.
It turns out that the latest Tomb Raider game will be developed on Unreal Engine 5. In an official statement on Twitter , Crystal Dynamics announced:
Crystal Dynamics is incredibly excited about the Unreal engine and how it will help us take our games’ storylines to a whole new level. That’s why we’re proud to announce that our next Tomb Raider game is being made on Unreal Engine 5!
Unfortunately, that’s it from official information. We know nothing more than what Crystal Dynamics said in the statement, but they will certainly share more information with us in the future, because Lara Croft fans have been waiting a long time for the next installment of the cult series. Since the studio is working on Perfect Dark at the same time, it is difficult to set any dates.
