Lady Gaga is in preliminary negotiations to join Joker: Folie à Deux . She would be the partner of the Joker, that is, Harley Quinn. Apparently, the production is to be a musical, and the director is Todd Philips. Todd and Scott Silver together wrote the script for the first installment of The Joker .
The first speculation that Harley Quinn is to be in production emerged when Philips posted the cover of the script on Instagram on June 7 . Creating a musical is a bold move on his part.
The subtitle is intended to refer to a medical term that describes an identical or similar mental disorder that includes two or more separate entities, usually family members. In the aforementioned post, you can see Joaquin Pheonix reading the script, so he will probably appear in the second installment.
Details about the heroine, played by Lady Gaga, are closely guarded. The Joker is known for his relationship with Harley Quinn to be a kind of a tstic relationship. The woman was his psychiatrist in Arkham, then fell in love with him and became a partner in crime. It is not known where the other DC characters will be located. If all goes well, Gaga will play Harley, but it will not be the same character as Margot Robbie presented to us.
