Kristofer Hivju, actor from “Game of Thrones” and “The Witcher” infected with coronavirus

Norwegian actor Kristofer Hivju, known for his role as Tormund Giantsbane from HBO’s “Game of Thrones”, has been diagnosed with a positive COVID-19 test.

 

Coronavirus infection was detected in the star of the Game of Thrones series . The actor is currently involved in the Netflix season 2 recordings of The Witcher , where he plays the character Nivellen . Netflix has suspended production and shut down the plan in Arborfield, where thorough disinfection will take place. Everyone who had contact with the actor was quarantined for 14 days.

Netflix announced yesterday that the recordings of the second season of The Witcher and its other productions were suspended .

Kristofer Hivju informed fans on social media that he tested positive for COVID-19 . He and his family are now in isolation at home and are doing well. At the same time, he adheres to everyone for caution and safety.
