In the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness , we can also expect some actors who have starred in Marvel productions in the past. So it’s no surprise that fans are still wondering who else is coming to the MCU. Many of them would like to see Kirsten Dunst again as Mary Jane Watson. During a recent interview with Deadline, the actress confirmed that she would be open to returning as MJ, but at the moment she has not received any offers on this matter.

This was not the first time Dunst had assured her that she would have no hesitation in working with Marvel. In a previous interview with Entertainment Weekly, Dunst revealed that she would be happy to return even as an older version of her character.
I wish they had come up with another role for me. For example, old lady Mary Jane – why not? I would play in another superhero movie, and not only me!
Also during the world premiere of Psie Claw , for which Dunst was nominated for an Oscar, the artist was asked by Variety about a potential return to the role of MJ.
