After an accidental leak in one of the stores, we now have an official confirmation. The remaster of “Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning” will be released soon.
Confirmation of the news about the upcoming premiere of the game came from its publisher – THQ Nordic. So far, no more specific details or any promotional material are available, as the announcement of Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning was not scheduled for now. At the same time, the company’s representatives promised that new information would soon appear. People from the Kaiko studio are working on the project, who have other refreshed and special editions of games, including the Darksiders series and Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered .
The original Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was the work of developers from 38 Studios. Also working on production were the writer RA Salvatore, cartoonist and comic book writer Todd McFarlane, and chief designer of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Ken Rolston. The fantasy RPG title turned out to be a hit, but just a few months after its premiere in 2012, the studio was closed. For several years, there was a struggle for the rights to the brand. This only ended last year.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will receive improved graphics and will be released with all additions. The release date is August 18 this year. The title will appear on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and, of course, also on PC.
