In the upcoming DC League of Super-Pets animated film , Keanu Reeves voices Batman, owner of Ace the Bat-Hound (Kevin Hart). The role makes him one of the two actors who bring the Dark Knight to life on the big screen this year. Before that, it was Robert Pattinson. For Reeves, this is a dream come true.
Keanu Reeves told Extra that playing Batman has always been his dream – and he is open to playing an older version of the character in the future.
It has always been… it has been a dream. Pattinson is playing Batman now and is doing great. Maybe I could do it in the future too. Maybe when they need an older Batman, ”Reeves said.
The actor also opened up a bit about his role as Batman’s voice actor in the DC League of Super-Pets , saying that working with Dwayn Johnson and Kevin Hart on this project was amazing.
I have a small role in this movie, a bit of an episodic role. But even that – just being on a project that Johnson and Kevin Hart are part of is amazing, and I could play Batman, ”Reeves explained.
