Lazarus writer Greg Rucka once mentioned that he originally planned on telling the Forever story in one hundred and fifty notebooks. This is an astronomical number as the original Sandman and Lucifer got to this number after being summed  together. Lately this number was reduced by half, although it is still difficult to say to what extent such plans will be realized.
