For the first time, the action of the anime will be based on the events of the Kamen Rider W manga . The new movie will be called FUUTO PI. As part of the promotion, the film received a separate tile on the website (https://www.kamen-rider-official.com/fuuto/), thanks to which fans can follow news about the new anime. All indications are that the movie will usher in a new anime series.
Based on the manga series written by Riku Sanjo and illustrated by Masaki Sato, FUUTO PI is the continuation of the Kamen Rider series from the 11th Heisei series. Most of the characters from the previous series will return to the film. International distribution plans are yet to be finalized, but Funimation has confirmed that it will also be offering the film outside of Japan.

Yousuke Kabashima (Uma Musume Pretty Derby’s lead animation director) has previously been confirmed as director at KAI Studio with Ayataka Tanemura as assistant director. Tatsuto Higuchi ( Revue Starlight ) will be responsible for the series’ composition, original manga writer Riku Sanjo will oversee the scripts, Hidekazu Ebina will design the characters and be the lead animation director alongside Sei Komatsubara, and Kotaro Nakagawa and Shuhei Naruse will oversee the music.
