End of rumors, jokes and fan pressure – the legendary director’s version of Zack Snyder’s film exists and will be released next year.
The 2017 Justice League , to put it mildly, was not a great success and was met with a cold reception from both the press and viewers. Some fans believe that the source of the problems was a different vision of Joss Whedon, who replaced Zack Snyder as director and significantly changed the concept of production. Soon after the premiere, an almost internet movement was born demanding the release of a supposedly much better and almost completed version of Snyder. The atmosphere was additionally heated by the director himself, regularly referring to rumors and eagerly talking about the so-called Snyder Cut. Until now, most commentators did not think this “mythical” version could actually exist, due to the importance of costly post-production in high-budget superhero cinema. As it turns out, the rumors were up to date. Warner Bros. apparently intends to finish off Zack Snyder’s version and will be released next year as exclusive to the HBO Max streaming platform.
