On the second anniversary of the film’s premiere, the popularity of #ReleaseTheSnyderCut has increased. The director and actors joined the fan activities.
On November 17, 2017, the Justice League premiered . Like the two previous DCEU films directed by Zack Snyder ( Man of Steel and Batman v Superman ), the picture was not well received. Some fans say the source of the problems in the Justice League was the replacement of Snyder (who left the pictures due to a family tragedy) by Joss Whedon (The Avengers ). Whedon was to make some very costly bolts that changed the content of the film dramatically.
For many months, many DC fans have been running social media campaigns under the hashtag #ReleaseTheSnyderCut. Based on unofficial reports, they claim that Warner Bros. owns a version of the film that fully matches Zack Snyder’s vision, or there is so much unused material that it can be prepared quickly. Hence, they are demanding the introduction of the so-called Snyder Cut . The entries were partly inspired by the director himself, mentioning in many interviews about ideas that were not included in the cinema version. On the second anniversary of the Justice League premiere, the action gained exceptional popularity. Cast members and Snyder also joined in.

Journalists from The Hollywood Reporter argue that such a large response can show Warner Bros. that Snyder Cut is in demand . However, it should be remembered that blockbusters like the Justice League are very much created in post-productions. So the material Snyder talks about can consist of concept sketches and raw shots without CGI effects. So is there a chance that Warner Bros. will release a new version of the movie? It’s hard to say, but for now we can encourage you to read our Blu-Ray release review.
