Netflix and DreamWorks on Thursday released a trailer for Jurassic Park: Chalk Camprevealing that season 3 is set to arrive on May 21. The almost abandoned amusement park on Isla Nublar hides more than we thought. At the end of the second season, the heroes of the series uncover a secret and a conspiracy that will send them into a much more dangerous world than they ever imagined. “A bigger story is told,” executive producer Colin Trevorrow explained in an interview with comicbook.com. This is not only a story about fearful, slightly stereotypical kids escaping from dinosaurs. The film shows friendships, relations with the family, the struggle for survival and transformation of the characters (which we can most often see on the example of Ben from the first and second season). There will be no waiting to be rescued in season three. The kids will unite to actively find a way to save themselves. Will they handle this new threat as well as they have coped with others? Looks like we’ll have to wait until the end of May to find out.
