After graduating from the Bronx School of Science in 1984, he enrolled at Queens College. He left his education in 1987 to work on Wall Street for one of the local banks. He soon moved to Chicago to try his hand at becoming a theatrical comedian. Although he started his career as an extra, he landed a role in the film Rudy after a short time . The script for the comedy drama Swingers opened his way to a career in Hollywood . The next step for him was directing the comedy Smog (1999),which was his completely independent idea. His career went through its ups and downs for a few years, and finally his participation in the production of Iron Man in 2008 brought him fame. A year later, he also started creating the second part. He is also known for producing films such as Cowboys and Aliens (2011), Zathura – A Space Adventure (2005), There Was a Boy (2014), The Jungle Book (2016) and The Lion King (2019). He is currently working on the cult series from the Star Wars universe – The Mandalorian .
He has also appeared as an actor in many of his productions. In Marvel’s movies, such as Avengers: Endgame, Spiderman , or the aforementioned Iron Man , he played the role of Happy Hogan. He also starred in The Boss as Carl Casper and in Polisa na Życie as Jimmy Lincoln. He also often gave his voice. We could hear him, for example, in Teddy Bear Season as Reilly or in Crew G , where he played Hurley.
