Fans have something to wait for, as Chucky will once again speak with Brad Dourif’s voice, and the series itself is set to take place after the events of The Cult of Chucky in 2017.
After an unsuccessful reboot in 2019 (voiced by Mark Hamill), the series is to be the only production from the Child’s Play franchise so far . Once again, Don Mancini is responsible for directing and scripting, who decided to restore some of the cast from older films. Thus, in addition to Jennifer Tilly, Alex Vincent and Christine McCarthy will appear in the series.
The series produced by SyFy will debut this fall. The first episode will be released on October 12.
