The cult animated series Phineas and Ferb will return to Disney TV in the near future! The studio placed an order for an additional 40 episodes. This news from earlier this year excited many Crazy Brothers fans. However, on Thursday, Phineas and Ferb’s return got even more interesting. Disney then announced that the original co-creator and executive producer was returning to work on new episodes.
Jeff “Swampy” Marsh co-creates Phineas and Ferb. He will return to the acclaimed series as executive producer and voice director for all 40 new episodes, working with his longtime creative partner Dan Povenmire.
Swampy is one of the most talented animators, and one of his many passions is connecting and collaborating with creative people, whether it’s writing, animation design, directing, music or acting. He is constantly elevating their artistry as well as his own to tell ever-bigger and funnier stories to audiences around the world. We are delighted to continue our partnership and look forward to the long and exciting road ahead.

What else will Marsh do besides Phineas and Ferb ?
In addition to the new episodes of Phineas and Ferb, “Swampy” will also executive produce and direct a new animated series for preschoolers titled Hey AJ . It is based on books by Martellus Bennett. The football star will executive produce alongside Marsh and Michael Hodges.
Swampy is a multi-word talent who brought excellence to Hey AJ, a fun, music-filled series that represents what he holds dearest – his family – and a positive portrayal of a child and his parents, stay-at-home father and small business owner mother. With every step, we’re even more excited to be working with Swampy’s creative team and can’t wait to launch a show that will keep our young viewers and their parents entertained.
