Gunn officially announced that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is in production. The news will surely please fans who have been waiting for a message from the director or cast for weeks: Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana. In addition to the returning crew, the screen will feature Will Poulter, who will play the much-anticipated character, Adam Warlock.
And here you can see how James Gunn announced the start of production:
It has been a strange, long and challenging adventure to get here, and the adversities that have arisen have made this moment even more meaningful for us. I’m back on set with my Guardian family for the first photo day # gotgvol3.
As well Gunn said, it was a long way to get the cameras filming. Marvel shocked fans when it announced in the fall of 2018 that Disney had kicked Gunn and the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 for old and offensive news the director had posted. Following this, Warner Bros./DC hired him on The Suicide Squad , and in the spring of 2019, Disney woke up and hired him again. This scandal and the epidemiological situation pushed the Rise of the Guardians 3 further than anyone could have expected.
Fans were begging for any information, and Gunn kept insisting that he would see it through to the end and that the story would end in the form of a trilogy. Marvel’s Eternals may provide more clues to what Gunn is planning in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
