A friend in need is a friend indeed? This is what the old Polish adage says, and I think there is something to it.
A frequent guest, associate, and most of all a friend of Pyrkon – Jakub Ćwiek. He extends a helping hand to the organizers of the Poznań fantasy festival and invites you to buy his new (currently under construction) short story, which will be published in cooperation
with ” Wydawnictwo SQN” . He plans to donate all profits to support “Pyrkon” .
We would like to remind you that as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the jubilee “Pyrkon” was moved to next year.

Although the vast majority of Ćwiek’s work is fictional literature, he does not shy away from other genres, also publishing travel, moral, criminal and reportage books.
A characteristic feature of Jakub Ćwiek’s work are numerous references to pop culture: books, films, series, musical works and various mythologies.
For the short story ” A Fairy Tale of Modes and Returns” he received the Janusz A. Zajdel in the short story category for 2011.
