Nick Fury is a character that combines several different films from the Marvel stable. We have, yet officially unconfirmed, information that Samuel L. Jackson will get his own series on the Disney + platform.
Incredibly, Nick Fury first appeared on screen as the Bond-style character played by David Hasselhoff (albeit with an eye patch). As for the possibilities at the time (1998), the effect was not that bad. It was not a cinema movie, but merely a pilot for a series that was to be made, but it did not materialize. Today, however, it is difficult to imagine anyone other than Samuel L. Jackson playing the role of Fury.
In 2008, Marvel began creating a world called the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Nick Fury is a character that combines various films from this universe. He does not show off any special talents such as flying or, say, with a snake-up tongue, although he has a power greater than the average person. But it is such a “base” on which the talents of others can reverberate solidly.
Dark-skinned Fury first appeared in the Ultimate Universe comics in 2001. The prototype was Samuel L. Jackson. It is obvious that he had a taste for playing the same role in the movie, which was the first (but not the last) time in 2008. It was a bull’s eye. Since then, he has starred in numerous films for this role. And for about 10 years there have been rumors that he should get his own production, where he would play the title role. It seems that the time has just come.
Jackson, one of America’s beloved actors, is now over 70 years old. We wonder whether it will be computer rejuvenated, whether the action of the series will take place now or earlier. There are many questions. Unfortunately, we do not know any further details or a possible release date yet, but we will be waiting impatiently for further information.
