Mortal Kombat 12 is coming soon . NetherRealm Studios has alternately released Mortal Kombat and Injustice for several years , but it looks like they will break that cycle and instead make two MK games back to back. It’s been a long time since we got a new Mortal Kombat game. The 11th installment was released in 2019, and the studio has been silent for some time about what the next game will be . Some hoped it would be Injustice 3, some that it might be the legendary Marvel vs. DC.
Mortal Kombat 12 has been officially announced by Warner Bros. discovery . To the great surprise, the news fell during a conversation about earnings. It’s a bit shocking that the game was confirmed under these circumstances, but it’s hard to imagine it was a coincidence. It’s possible the team planned an announcement for this month, but it’s been delayed. Either way, it’s happening and we can probably expect more information soon. NetherRealm and Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon responded to this unexpected announcement. Soon they will surely have much more to say about this exciting news.
Unfortunately, we don’t know the exact release date of Mortal Kombat 12 yet . However, the developer tends to release its games in the first half of the year, usually in spring or summer. NetherRealm also has fairly short marketing cycles, so if they plan to reveal the game this spring, we can expect to play it by summer. At the moment, we don’t have any information about the plot, gameplay changes, characters or anything else, so fighting fans will have to be patient.
