Is the ‘Riverdale’ finale getting closer? Madelaine Petsch talks about Season 7

The series gained a lot of popularity after the first episode. Currently, it is famous for its very complicated and intricate plot. In 2023, we will be able to see the 7th, probably the last season of Riverdale . Will the ending be just as crazy?

The CW has not yet confirmed the exact premiere date of season 7, but it will definitely take place in 2023. The series inspired by the Archie Comics series is officially coming to an end. Work on the final season has already started some time ago, but due to the many unexpected twists and turns, some people still think that the continuation will come to fruition. One of the main actresses told a bit about the upcoming premiere.

What does Madelaine Petsch say?

The actress believes that the final season will not be as crazy as the others. The creators focused more on the relationships of the characters who “captured” the hearts of the fans of the early episodes of the series. Of course, there will be some odd situations, but to a much lesser extent.

There’s one pretty important thing about my family life that’s bizarre and amazing. Plus, this season is very grounded and relationship-centric. We really get what made the show so special in Season 1, which is the city’s relationships. This season is more sparing of the craziness, but there’s still bizarre stuff going on.

What do we know about the plot?

The season 6 finale transported all the heroes to the 1950s, which made their situation even more complicated. It turns out that many people from the film crew missed the times when it was based on high school life. The director wanted to make the ending unique and meet the expectations of the rest.

I felt like everything we’re going to do in season 7 is kind of a smaller version of high school. But with nostalgia in mind, and then coming off our big Steven King-style supernatural, mythical season, we knew we had to make our final season really, really special. One thing we can all agree on is that every time we have our heroes in their iconic outfits from the ’50s comics, people are blown away. Cole Sprouse was so happy when he didn’t have to wear a hat anymore, but he told me, “But, man, I’m going to wear this crown until I die.” So we thought, “What if we go back to high school, but instead of high school in the present, we’re going to make it high school in the ’50s, which is what a lot of people think of Archie Comics characters.”
