Nintendo Switch 2 – or at least the successor to the standard Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite or Nintendo Switch Oled – probably just leaked. By leaked, we mean, of course, that thanks to the cyber attack on Nvidia, the creators of processors for the big N consoles, we could get confirmation about the production of the Switch’s successor.
Source code Nvidia DLSS hit the internet. Inside it, prospectors found the name NVN2 . Why is it so important? Because it is the term NVN that has been used so far for the Nintendo Switch series. I strongly suggest that the new Nintendo console is in production!
And here we could end, if the twitter user NWPlayer123 had not found another confirmation about NVN2 . From this information, we can learn that the graphics card of the new Switch will be based on the Ampere architecture and will support Ray-Traycing and DLSS2.2 ! This is really good news. DLSS 2.2 will allow the console to run more demanding games even on weaker hardware.
This is all the information that we have managed to find about the successor of the Nintendo Switch so far. Of course, it’s worth taking such leaks with a grain of salt. Now we can only hope that this year, on a certain Nintendo Direct, a new generation will be released! It would be handy as the current Switch will celebrate its fifth birthday tomorrow.
