The latest installment in the Indiana Jones franchise has been in the making for several weeks now, and it’s fair to say that fans are excited to get to know the details of the upcoming sequel. Luckily for them, new photos from the set appeared on the web.
A number of new people will join Harrison Ford in the upcoming blockbuster Indiana Jones 5. Among them will also be Phoebe Waller-Bridge, star of the Fleabag series and L3-37 in Han Solo: A Star Wars Story . Although we do not know yet who this multi-award-winning actress will play, some photos from the set of the upcoming production have been published on the web, showing what her character will look like. The photos you can see below show Waller-Bridge in a 1960s outfit. But whether the outfit indicates the era it comes from or just her fashion taste remains to be seen.
The director of the newest part of the history of the famous archaeologist and adventurer was James Mangold, responsible, for example, for Logan: Wolverine . As part of the statement issued at the announcement of the production, the creator shared the emotions accompanying him in the face of the new project:
I am excited to embark on a new adventure with my dream team of great filmmakers. Steven, Harrison, Kathy, Frank and John are my heroes. With the addition of Phoebe, a dazzling actress, and a brilliant voice and chemistry that she will undoubtedly bring with her to the set, I can feel as lucky as Indiana Jones himself.
In addition to Ford and Waller-Bridge, the film also features such personalities as: Mads Mikkelsen, Antonio Banderas, Boyd Holbrook, Thomas Kretschmann and Shaunette Renee Wilson.
If nothing changes, Indiana Jones 5 will hit theaters on July 29, 2022.
