In Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, we will not see the controversial photo of Tali

Soon after the premiere of the second part of the original trilogy, fans were in a frenzy. All because of the photo that appears after you start one of the romances.

For most Mass Effect fans, romance is an indispensable part of every game play. They were also included in the remaster of the trilogy, which had its premiere recently. However, not everything remained unchanged.

A few years ago, the creators were flooded with criticism after they decided to present one of the heroines. Tali, as a representative of the Quarian race, we could only see in a protective suit, covering the whole body, including the face. Therefore, the appearance of the heroine was shrouded in mystery all the time.

However, players had the opportunity to see Quarian without a helmet. After establishing an affair with her, commander Shepard’s cabin shows a commemorative photo of the heroine without a helmet. For this purpose, the creators used and transformed a generally available stock photo taken by the photographer Matthew Leete . Disappointed fans, awaiting the breed’s original performance, quickly showed their dissatisfaction, accusing Bioware of taking the easy way.

However, it seems that when creating the remaster, the developers took to heart the harsh criticism that fell on them after the game’s premiere. Now, during the game, we can see a completely new character, giving players a new look at Quarian and their appearance hidden by the suit.
