This updated version of the game was released in 2014, developed by Beamdog, the same developer who worked on other D &D games such as Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur ‘s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition . The name suggests that there is a bit more going on with it compared to the original release. Includes the original campaign as well as the Heart of Winter and Trials of the Luremaster expansions, as well as some quests that were cut from the original release. Also part of the pack are new adventurer classes, spells, items, magical gear, and upgrades such as cross-platform play.
