After 6 years from the premiere, we have an announcement of a continuation! The combat model will really be changed this time, you can be sure of it.
Heart Machine announced Hyper Light Breaker on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the premiere of the original. The first installment took off really well and was released on multiple platforms. This time the distributor of the game will be Gearbox Publishing. Apart from the basic information, we also got the first trailer and some really interesting sentences from the devs.
If you played Hyper Light Drifter , you probably remember that it was soulslike 2D. This time, the creators plan to party and create a game in 3D! In addition, support for single and cooperative modes – online is planned. The title is expected to be released in spring 2023 in Early Access.
It’s really surprising that it’s been 6 years since the launch of Hyper Light Drifter . Our journey from the beginning of the Kickstarter campaign in 2013 until today has been amazing. We are truly delighted to be able to celebrate our brand’s birthday in this way. The Kickstarter campaign exceeded all our expectations. It is thanks to her and at the same time millions of players from all over the world have fallen in love with our production. The fans trusted us back then to prove our vision for the game. For this reason, we can’t wait for our community to experience Hyper Light Breaker – it’s a new adventure and the culmination of everything we’ve learned in the past 8 years at Heart Machine.
