Games from the popular battle royale genre are associated with a simple formula even by not very committed players – at least several dozen players are dropped on a large map from which only one can come out alive. Usually, however, the main method of eliminating enemies is firearms, as the positions of this are usually set in a realistic setting (PUGB, Call of Duty: Warzone ) or slightly futuristic ( Apex Legends ). Hunter’s Arena: Legends seems to break with these habits, transferring the formula to the fantasy world.
The main advantage that the creators boast about is the change of mechanics to fit the chosen realities. The title combines battle royale with combat typical of arcade RPGs and character development. Production has just entered the final stage of closed beta testing. Soon, however, everyone will be able to learn about the interesting formula. On July 15, the public version of Hunter’s Arena: Legends in Early Access will launch on Steam .
