It’s been a year and a half since the announcement of the Hogwarts Legacy , but only now did we get an insight into the gameplay. It looks like it was worth the wait, because the presented material is really impressive. Learning spells, magical duels or making new friends are only part of what this great fantasy game will allow us to do.
The plot of this title will take us to the late nineteenth century, long before the events known from books and movies. We play the role of a young wizard or witch who can control ancient and powerful magic. In order to discover the source of these abilities, we will go to Hogwarts, where we will also learn to use our abilities. We will also have the opportunity to make many friendships and explore the stories of the students we met.
In this production, we will visit the eponymous school of magic and the areas surrounding the castle. Among them there will be large areas free of people, where various magical creatures move freely. The Hogsmeade village will also be open to us. It is there that we can buy all the necessary things from the merchants, from potion ingredients to various costumes. However, the aforementioned town will not be completely safe for us, due to the groups of dark wizards and rebellious goblins roaming there. We will also get the opportunity to explore dungeons and undergrounds in order to find hidden treasures.
The creators also promise a lot of freedom in character development. We will be able to expand our hero’s abilities to best suit the style of play we choose. In parts of the game we see both direct clashes with enemies as well as stealthy movement on the map and silent elimination of opponents. Apparently, we will also be able to decide whether we want to play as someone quite good or interested in black magic (in one of the fragments you can see how the main character casts one of the unforgivable curses).
If all the promises to this game turn out to be true, we will get one of the most extensive fantasy RPG productions. We have to wait for the Hogwarts Heritage premiere at least until the end of this year.
