IO Interactive shared new news regarding when players will be able to see Hitman 4 . In early 2021, the developers released Hitman 3 , widely recognized as the best part of the new trilogy about a bald killer. Since then, Hitman 3 has been updated regularly, including the addition of all maps from the previous two parts. The full package was titled Hitman : World of Assassination . While some are already waiting for Hitman 4 to hit the horizon, it looks like IOI will focus on creating other things.
IOI’s creative director, Christian Elverdam, in a new interview with Eurogamer , informed that the company will probably take a break from Agent 47. While further updates to Hitman 3 will continue to appear in the near future, Elverdam revealed that IOI now wants to focus on the new James Bond game. Therefore, we are unlikely to see a new Hitman , at least for some time.

At the moment the big new Hitman game is a bit on hold as we are building another agent’s story and that is also taking up a lot of our time. Of course, we will return to the beloved Agent 47. He is still at the heart of our company.
Hitman fans will be relieved by the fact that IO Interactive is not abandoning the franchise completely, it is just devoting itself to other projects for the moment. Anyway, those waiting for the announcement of Hitman 4 will have to be patient, because so far we will not hear much about the game.
