To imagine Roy Kent as the iconic Hercules on the pages of Marvel Comics and the minds of Jack Kirby and Stan Lee was nothing but an honor! I can’t wait to see him collide in the MCU with … whoever he wants! Oh my!
Andy Park described the photo, not hiding his excitement.

Between the end credits of Love and Thunder , for the first time, we dealt with Hercules, played by Brett Goldstein ( Ted Lasso ). And which film will the Greek hero be in? We do not know for sure yet. For now, work on the new Thor has been confirmed , as well as the project focused on Hercules himself, but it is not known which of these two titles will appear first.
How did it even happen that Goldstein got the role? As with most of its heroes, the management of Marvel Studios was the first to contact the actor to make a proposal. True to his words, he only had two weeks to prepare for a short cutscene for the last Thor .
No, I didn’t know what was going on. I was told some Marvel people wanted to talk to me on Zoom, so I met them and it was so unreal because… it came out of nowhere, overnight, I was very busy and I was asked, “Will you find a moment for Zoom? ” “Sure, of course.”
They called Zoom and they just started talking about the movie. “So Russell Crowe is Zeus,” I said, “Sure, okay, go on.” Blah blah blah. And then they said, “You will be Hercules.” I said, “What?” It’s just, “Are you serious? Are you kidding me? Is it some bloat? ” So yeah, it was as surprising to me as it probably is to the rest of the people.
