On February 9 (Thursday) at 6.30 pm in Cinema City Arkadia there will be a special event - a pre-premiere screening of the film Heaven in Hell combined with a meeting with the actors and the director. Magdalena Boczarska, Katarzyna Sawczuk and director Tomasz Mandes will talk to the audience after the screening, and the meeting will be hosted by Artur Zaborski.
Heaven in Hell is the latest Polish romantic film whose characters get involved in a relationship that theoretically should not happen. In the unique company of acting stars and the director, the Warsaw audience will have the opportunity to see the work the day before the premiere and confront their impressions during conversations with the creators. A Thursday evening must be spent in Cinema City!
What is the movie itself about? Olga (Magdalena Boczarska) and Maks (Simone Susinna) are 15 years apart. She is a successful woman with an established position, mother of an adult daughter, he is a handsome, young man who draws from life to the full and lives in the moment. It would seem that these two different worlds will never meet, but fate has put them in the way. Olga is unable to cope with the mixture of conflicting emotions that torment her: a sense of responsibility, shame, passion and longing for something she has never experienced before. Maks, on the other hand, realizes that everyday life no longer suits him, and the woman he met is the love of his life. When hidden secrets come to light, they will complicate the lovers’ lives even more.
