Netflix is preparing the next installment of He-Man’s adventures. The famous hero will return in the series Masters of the Universe: Revolution . Fans have already received their first look at the upcoming production.
A few years ago, Mattel Television and Netflix teamed up to create an entirely new take on the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe franchise. Kevin Smith became its showrunner, and the series hired an all-star cast, thus reviving the classic animated series. It turned out to be a huge success. Now it has been announced that a second series is in the works!
The new series will be titled Masters of the Universe: Revolution. The premiere will take place in 2024, but Netflix has already released the first clip. In it, He-Man teams up with a surprising ally to take on Scare Glow.
At the moment, we do not know the exact release date. It is worth adding that the first series ended with quite a big cliffhanger, announcing the introduction of a new wave of villains.
Masters of the Universe: Revolution will feature the returning Chris Wood as He-Man and Mark Hamill as Skeletor, with new cast members including Melissa Benoist as Teela, Meg Foster as Motherboard, Kevin David as Hordak and William Shatner, whose role currently not disclosed. Kevin Smith will remain showrunner.
