Death may die
I have said this on the pages of the portal many times and I do not change my mind. I don’t like being scared. Yes, I am the guy who would cover his eyes when watching a horror movie at the sight of drastic scenes (I know it doesn’t help). Board games, however, are a slightly different medium that also focuses on the atmosphere in some titles, but it is realized in a different way. One of the most common themes of such games is undoubtedly a story inspired by Lovecraft’s prose. A Study in Scarlet, Sign of the Elder Gods, or Arkham Horror . And although I find these games quite successful, my heart is much closer to Death may die. It is a cooperative game in which the main emphasis is on a (almost) carefree brawl, during which you can shove bursts from a rifle into the Ancient One. The game is also very well made, and the ability to mix scenarios and ancient ones (I recommend additions right away) makes it highly replayable. I would highly recommend. – Bartek Jaworski
