Vin Diesel , who voices Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy , during an interview promoting the latest film Bloodshot with the actor, revealed that Peter Quill / Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) and his friends will appear in the latest film about the god of thunder Thor: Love and Thunder directed by Taiki Waititi . He learned about it from director James Gunn , who had planned to create a film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 before the fourth film of the Marvel Thor . However, the order was reversed due to Gunn’s commitments in the film Suicide Squad.
We most recently saw Thor (Chris Hemsworth) departing with the Guardians of the Galaxy at the end of Avengers: Endgame . We’ll probably see what happens next now.
