Marvel has released a new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy # 13, in which we find united heroes fighting zonczyńców in outer space. The trailer was created to show the approach of new comic book creators to the group of heroes and their teammates, new costumes and enemies appearing in this part. Al Ewing and Juan Frigeri are taking over the series in April with the intention of adding freshness to the storyline. Last month, Marvel Comics revealed that their Guardians of the Galaxy team will grow, as we can see in the promotional video. The heroes we know will return and new ones will join. We will see: Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Groot and Drax, Hulkling, Wiccan, Quasar (Avril Kincaid), Super Skrull, Moondragon, Marvel Boy, Mantisa, Phyla-Vella, Hercules, the second Quasar (Wendell Vaughn) and Marvel villain Dr. Doom, who is in the process of getting ready for his wedding.
Al Ewing, excited about the new project, spoke in a CBR interview about a cosmic group of heroes who are now Guardians appointed by the Galactic Council:
It’s a way to turn things around a bit, raise the stakes and the tension, and partly it’s a way to get back at SWORD – Space Avengers to counter Space X-Men. But most of all, that was where history wanted to go. It was all headed for a darker place at first, but – perhaps because the world has been dark enough lately – once I got into it, I started to lean towards something brighter and more positive, which led to the idea that the Rangers should be a superhero team in more official character.
Guardians of Galaxy # 13 will launch on April 14, Guardians of Galaxy # 14 will arrive on May 12, and Guardians of Galaxy # 15 will debut on June 23. All three issues will have special covers, the spines of which, when joined together, will show the full group of seventeen members in one photo.
