HBO Max made its debut with a bang, giving viewers several original productions, including “Raised by Wolves”. This series was very well received by viewers. So a decision was made to start shooting the second season (even before the end of the first season). We found out from HBO Max’s Twitter account.
The script writer of this interesting production is Aaron Guzikowski (his name is Polish, because his great-grandparents came from Poland to the States). The first episodes were shot by Ridley Scott to encourage viewers, followed by his son Luke, and other directors. They all leave their mark, but the series is visually stunning and shot in full swing.
Raised by wolves tells the story of a pair of androids known as the Father and Mother. It is the XXII century. Together with a group of human children, they land on the planet Kepler-22b. There is a brutal battle between the atheist group and the religious Mithraics on Earth. Atheists have a clever, one could say Satanic plan to populate the new planet. The plan is good, but the execution is worse, because can an android get along with a human? It will be rather difficult. Besides, the religious come up with the same idea, and they also go after Kepler-22b.
It is a science-fiction series, which turns towards survival (a bit like in Lost ), with elements of drama, sprinkled with philosophical and religious issues. Sounds complicated, but it looks good. And it is remembered.
The main characters, Mother and Father – differing not only in appearance, but also in their views on raising children, are played by Amanda Collin and Abubakar Salim. The other actors include Travis Fimmel, and the adorable kids Winta McGrath and Jordan Loughran. It seems that viewers who love this production will not have to wait long for the next tranche.
