Good news from Ubisoft for Assassin’s Creed fans!

Materiał promocyjny "Assassin's Creed" od PlayStation

Ubisoft has some good news for those who are still playing some of their older but most classic games, especially Assassin’s Creed lovers . One of the downsides to modern gaming is that almost all games have online functionality. Some of them are just leaderboards, the rest are special mechanics, but some have online modes. In the late 2000s and early 2010s, there was a lot of emphasis on some of the largest franchises to implement multiplayer modes. This is how we ended up with single-player games like Assassin’s Creed getting PVP modes with unique progression systems.

Earlier , Ubisoft announced that many of its online games with Xbox 360 will have their servers shut down on September 1. This has worried some fans, but luckily Assassin’s Creed II – Liberation HD, Far Cry 3 , Splinter Cell: Blacklistand many other games will have their servers up and running until October 1st, giving players an extra month to play. This means you’ll have time to explore their online modes or clear up any multiplayer achievements that you may be missing. After that, everything will be turned off, much to the displeasure of the fans. PC players with any single player add-ons will need to activate them before October 1, but console players don’t need to do anything else. You can view the list of affected games below.

Assassin’s Creed II
Assassin’s Creed III
Assassin’s Creed Bractwo
Assassin’s Creed Revelations
Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD
Driver San Francisco
Far Cry 3
Ghost Recon Future Soldier
Prince of Persia: Zapomniane Piaski
Rayman Legends

Splinter Cell: Blacklist

Unfortunately, this is the specificity of modern gaming. All good things must come to an end, but at least a few of these titles have been remastered and these versions will not be affected. Anyone who enjoys the online functionality of these titles through backward compatibility will unfortunately not be able to do so after October 1.
