Sony announced the launch of the PS5 game “ Tango Gameworks Ghostwire: Tokyo” during Thursday’s ” PlayStation 5 – The Future of Gaming ” live presentation . Tango Gameworks has revealed that the game will also receive a PC release. The official PlayStation YouTube channel announced the trailer for the game.
The trailer shows the ghosts (called visitors) that haunt Tokyo. Ghosts like:
- Amewarashi – a small child in a yellow raincoat
- Shiromuku – a ghost in a neat white wedding kimono
- Kuchisake – a woman who carries large scissors
Bethesda unveiled the game at the E3 press conference in June 2019. The company describes the game:
After the strange disappearances of the Tokyo population, it’s up to you to discover the source and rid the city of a strange new evil. Armed with your own mysterious spectral abilities, you’ll face occult, unraveled conspiracy theories and learn about urban legends like never before. Don’t be afraid of the unknown. Attack it.
Ikumi Nakamura , the game’s former creative director, wrote the story, script, and character settings. He also designed concept art for characters, creatures and artwork. Kenji Kimura is in charge of the game’s development. Shinji Mikami ( Resident Evil ) is the founder of Tango Gameworks .
