A completely new character is Podcast (played by Logan Kim), a self-proclaimed journalist who shares his interests with the world, whether or not someone actually listens to him. It is supposed to bring greater dynamism to the new production.
Director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitmann open a new chapter in the Ghostbusters universe. They tell the story of a single mother and her two children who come to a small town. They discover their relationship with the original Ghostbusters and the mysterious legacy left by their grandfather.
Previous Ghostbusters movie . Ghostbusters from 2016 combined with the previous parts in its own way, being a separate whole. Jason Reitman’s production is a direct sequel to Ghostbusters II , in which the heroes are descendants of the characters from the previous part. The creators hope to interest the young generation of the universe. The film will star, among others, Carrie Coon (Callie), Finn Wolfhard (Trevor), Mckenna Grace (Phoebe) and Paul Rudd (Mr. Grooberson).
Ghostbusters: Afterlife premiere will be held on November 19 this year.
