The first pictures of the Lord of the Rings series , which will be premiered in September this year on the Amazon Prime platform, have been released. The series will focus on the untold story of the Second Age of Middle-earth. A trailer for the show is due to be unveiled at the Super Bowl, however, Vanity Fair has already released new photos featuring several characters:
While the presence of Galadriella has already been confirmed, the new images also portray Robert Aramayo as a young Elrond. As expected, the Amazon adaptation will also feature some non-canon characters.
