An actor known, among others, will appear in the screening of games from Naughty Dog studio. from Agents of SHIELD and Terminator: Dark Destiny. He will play one of the most important characters from both parts of the series.
According to Deadline, Gabriel Luna will play Tommy Miller, the brother of one of the two protagonists – Joel. Although in games he was rather a supporting character, he had a significant impact on the development of the plot of both parts. Luna is the third confirmed cast member after the lead actors Pedro Pascal (Joel) and Bella Ramsey (Ellie).
So far, little is known about the plot of the picture. According to what has been revealed so far, the production is to re-present some of the important events of the games, but also those that players have never seen. Perhaps thanks to this, people who know the post-apocalyptic world created by people from Naughty Dog studio will be more likely to look at the film adaptation.
The creators of The Last of Us series are Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. The production is commissioned by the HBO station. There is no release date yet.
