Samuel Jackson was unhappy with the fact that Fury was slowly disappearing from the MCU in previous years. He decided to have a serious conversation with his boss – Kevin Feige. Thanks to the power of persuasion (or maybe fury …), the actor managed to get his character to appear in Capitan Marvel and now he will get his own series. Feige recalled this:
Sam was very funny at the round table where we talked about how he had disappeared for a while. He appears in Avengers: Age of Ultron , then is absent in Kaptan America: Civil War, and hasn’t appeared in many movies in a while. I remember meeting him two years ago and saying, “I know it’s been a while, Sam. Here is our plan. 2019 will be the year of Fury. ”
We took him through a young, binocular version of Fury in Captan Marvel, he had the only poignant shot in Endgame, and we saw him in [ Spider-Man ].
It looks like the lead role in the production about Nick Fury will be the complement. That is the plan for 2021. Moon Knight and She-Hulk are huddled first in line, and a series with Samuel L. Jackson in the lead role is to be the third.
Nick Joseph Fury was an officer in the US Army, a CIA spy during the Cold War, and finally the director of the SHIELD. In the MCU, the SHIELD organization is still disbanded today, and Fury is a lone agent. But SHIELD means nothing without a sword. SWORD is the cosmic branch of the mother organization. Will Fury take her leadership? How will his fate unfold? We look forward to more information!
