Thanks to this trailer, we finally have an insight into the plot of the film. The action takes place shortly after Far From Home . After the disclosure that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, the life of the boy and his loved ones becomes very complicated. A desperate youth asks Doctor Strange for help. The master of magic complies with his request and casts a spell that will remove Peter’s heroic identity from everyone’s memory. Unfortunately, the spell is broken, and our heroes land in a world where different alternative versions of reality begin to merge. Now they have to fight to restore things to what was before.
The trailer features cast members from previous films – Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau and Marisa Tomei. Additionally, Benedict Cumberbatch and Benedict Wong return as Doctor Strange and Wong. We also have the first insight into the villains who will stand in the way of the protagonists. The previously announced Alfred Molina will play Doctor Octopus again. In one of the shots we hear crazed laughter and also see a characteristic grenade, which means the appearance of a Goblin. It is possible that this is one of the antagonists from the previous two film series (at that time Willem Dafoe and Dane DeHaan played the roles of the two goblins) or a completely new enemy (one rumor was about Ned becoming a Hobgoblin).
Spider-Man: No Way Home is due to debut in mid-December this year.
