When the enemy threatens the inhabitants of a not-so-wealthy community, a pugnacious senior tries to stop him in Bingo Hell– a terribly original horror movie with a hellishly funny twist. When 60-year-old activist from the neighborhood Lupita (Adriana Barraza) discovers that her beloved local bingo hall has been taken over by a mysterious businessman named Mr. Big (Richard Brake) gathers his friends to fight a mysterious entrepreneur. But when her longtime neighbors begin to perish under horrific circumstances, Lupita suddenly discovers that gentrification is her least concern. Something terrifying has established itself in the quiet neighborhood of Oak Springs, and with each new shout of “Bingo!” Someone falls victim to this devilish figure again. More money emerging equates to more dead bodies. Lupita has to face the terrifying realization that in this game, the winner takes it all.

The resourceful teen comes out of childhood when she battles a group of deadly vampires in Black as Night, a hybrid of action-horror with moralization and a biting sense of humor. Fifteen years after Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans, a new threat leaves a mark on Big Easy in the form of stab wounds to the throats of the city’s vulnerable displaced population. When a drug-addicted mom becomes the cold-blooded last victim, 15-year-old Shawna (Asjha Cooper) vows to settle the score. Together with three trusted friends, he devises a daring plan to infiltrate the vampire mansion in the historic French Quarter, destroy their leader and restore his fanged students to human form. But killing monsters is no easy task, and soon Shawna and his crew find themselves trapped in a centuries-old conflict between warring vampire clans, each struggling to take over New Orleans as their permanent home.
