Materiały prasowe Cinema City.

The last premieres at Cinema City this year are ahead of us. On December 22, the Matrix Resurrections will be shown , and the holiday season will feature Woody Allen’s new comedy Rifkin’s Festival and a family animation Around the World in 80 Days. The fourth installment of The Matrix will join the great productions shown in the IMAX and 4DX formats.

Neo and Trinity are back!

The first part of the Matrix trilogy revolutionized science-fiction cinema in 1999. The creators of the entire series, sisters Lilly and Lana Wachowski, were considered visionaries of this genre. Film heroes – Neo, Trinity and agent Smith entered the canon of pop culture characters. 18 years later, Lana Wachowski presents Matrix Resurrections, the long-awaited fourth installment of the series, returning actors from previous parts – Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss. The main character of the previous parts, Neo, was a man living in a reality that turned out to be only a computer program and his world only a perfectly organized simulation. The three parts of the series are awakening and an attempt to fight the system, hand in hand with the remnants of an untamed part of humanity that has been forced to hide under the surface of the earth. What awaits viewers nearly 20 years after the premiere of the first part? How is the fate of the legendary savior of Neo? The answer will be announced on December 22, and Cinema City encourages you to experience the film in a unique way on the largest IMAX screen or with an additional sensory experience in 4DX.

Family time at the cinema

The youngest and their entire families will be able to experience the emotions of a great journey from the very first day of Christmas – the animated film Around the World in 80 Days is released on the screens of cinemas .This time the protagonist is Obieżyświat, a nice teenage monkey who dreams of great adventures and long journeys. Every day she leads a quiet life, which will change when she meets a slightly shot frog named Phileas. She offers Passepartout a crazy bet: if they manage to travel the world in 80 days, they will win a large prize and become famous. Despite his mother’s objections and the surprise of his friends, the young monkey sets off with Phileas on a journey full of challenges and dangers through a world he does not know at all. He will meet wild tribes, amazing animals, incredible wonders of nature and lots of funny and surprising twists. Above all, however, it will be a great test of the courage and friendship of both travelers. Especially that someone who wants to thwart their ranks is following their trail.

Amorous adventures according to Woody Allen

Woody Allen’s comedy Rifkin’s Festival will also have its premiere just before Christmas . The director’s latest work is a loving tribute to cinema, which can contribute to great changes in everyone’s life. The main characters are an American couple who arrive at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain. He is a former film studies lecturer and she is an advertising specialist working for a young and promising director. The European expedition turns out to be a time full of emotional vicissitudes and turmoil in the lives of the heroes and their new acquaintances.
