Another project from the “Alien” universe has been announced. This time it will be a film from the director of 2013 remake named “Evil Dead”.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fede Alvarez will direct and write the script for a new production with killer xenomorphs. Interestingly, the picture will not be directly related to any of the previous projects. The film is to be made for the Hulu streaming service. It will be part of 20th Century Studios’ ambitious plan to release ten full-length productions a year on the platform.
As it turns out, Avarez had an idea for a new Alien for a long time . Years ago, the filmmaker communicated his vision of the film to the “father” of the series – Ridley Scott. This one apparently did not forget about the topic and decided to pass it on to the label. According to Steve Asbell from 20th Century Studios, the management found the story full of new characters very good.
Currently, a series from the Alien universe is also being created for Hulu . It is cared for by the creator, among others Legion – Noah Hawley. Unlike Alvarez’s film, this production is related to the previous ones in the series. The premiere of this painting is scheduled for 2023.
