The main characters of the series are Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and her children, Nick (Frank Dillane) and Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey). After eight seasons on AMC, the matriarch of the Clark clan will end what began in Los Angeles when the final six episodes premiere on October 22 on AMC and AMC+ . On Wednesday, the network released key art and a climactic trailer for the final episodes of Fear the Walking Dead , along with the tagline: “Fight until the end.”
After Madison and Morgan Jones (Lennie James) liberated PADRE Island from the kidnapper’s Krennick siblings, Shrike (Maya Eshet) and Crane (Daniel Rashid).
Madison’s goal is to transform PADRE into the safe haven that the old stadium was supposed to be. But in doing so, the island becomes a target as well as a beacon as news of Madison and this land of resources spreads, attracting unwanted attention that puts PADRE back in danger and calls into question whether our heroes even deserve her salvation.

A recap of previous events from the Fear TWD finale
As teased in the season finale , Madison’s mission caught the attention of Troy Otto (Daniel Sharman), who somehow survived being hit in the head with a hammer in Season 3. “It’s been a while,” Otto tells Madison in the trailer. “You took everything from me. I do the same for you.” The trailer includes showing Alicia being bitten by a zombie with her prosthetic arm still having bones in it, suggesting that Madison’s daughter may have met her own end during the seven-year time skip since we last saw her in Amina.
“This place, this is all I have left,” Madison says, telling Victor Strand (Colman Domingo) about the island where she spent those years “saving” children as a collector for PADRE. After Nick and Alicia leave, Strand says, “You still have something to fight for. The people we love – the people we would die to protect – that’s why you can still live forever.”
