Harry’s faithful companion, which he received as a gift purchased at the Eeylop Mall by Rubeus Hagrid. Hedwig was a snow owl of light color. She had a gentle and calm disposition. Like other owls from the world, Joanne Kathleen Rowling – in addition to accompanying Harry – delivered the mail. Hedwig was with Harry for 6 years – from 1991, the moment Hagrid bought her, until 1996 and the Battle of the Seven Potters, in which she suffered a tragic death.
I was probably not the only one who wanted to be the guardian of an owl such as Hedwig, while learning about the world of magic and wizardry. She was not only exceptionally beautiful, but also helpful in delivering messages between the heroes of the series. – Kamil Sawicki
