The Disney + platform is planning a new series dedicated to Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, reprized by Ewan McGregor.
Ewan McGregor, who has played in the Star Wars prequel trilogy since 1999 ( The Phantom Menace , Attack of the Clones , Revenge of the Sith ) by younger Obi-Wan Kenobi, replacing the older actor Alec Guinness, will return as a Jedi Master.
The Disney + platform plans to create a new series dedicated to the character of Obi-Wan Kenobi, in which we will see Ewan McGregor as the lead role. It will be the 3rd series from the Star Wars universe on this channel, next to Mandalorian and the animated Clone Wars .
In 2018, there was talk of plans for an Obi-Wan Kenobi film directed by Stephen Daldry, however Ewan McGregor explains that there is currently no work in progress on the film.
