After 10 years, the next part of one of the most anticipated films of recent years is coming. Finally, social media has been enriched with the first material promoting horror. The longtime Evil Dead star posted a cinematic sneak peek of the upcoming trailer today on her Twitter! Unfortunately, we will not see Bruce Campbell in the latest part , as he reminds us in the material:
Even though I’m not in this movie, as a producer, I walk around it like a cheap suit. I think you could say I have a hand in this. Now I’ve seen the movie in all its glory and if you’re wondering, yes it’s amazing and yes it’s the scariest yet.

What is Evil Dead 5 about ?
Ellie is a single mother of three children from Los Angeles, whom she raises in a cramped apartment. Her sister Beth pays the woman a belated visit. It turns out that the building inhabited by Ellie hides full secrets. During the meeting, they discover a mysterious book that initiates demon attacks. Beth is forced to face her possessed sister, who no longer resembles her loving mother.
Who’s in the cast?
Bruce Campbell this time is responsible for producing the film. Sam Raimi and Lee Cronin continue to direct. On the screen we will be able to see, among others: Gabrielle Echols (Reminiscence), Morgan Davies ( Tree ), Nell Fisher ( Northspur ), Alyssa Sutherland ( Vikings ) and Lily Sullivan ( I Met a Girl ).
Raimi also spoke about working with Cronin:
We met and talked and he said he really liked Evil Dead . I said, “Then why don’t you make a new one? I think you’re the kind of guy I’d like to do it with.” He said, “Great. We’re starting.” We put together the script and took notes and he made some changes, then we raised the money for the film and he went to New Zealand to shoot it with my partner Rob Tapert. Now Bruce Campbell is working with him on sound in post-production.
