Epic is dedicating all Fortnite proceeds from March 20, 2022 to April 3, 2022 to humanitarian aid for those affected by the war in Ukraine. Xbox is joining us and is allocating the Fortnite net proceeds that they have achieved to the same end, so that they can help more people from Ukraine.
Here is a list of the humanitarian organizations they support. They are on site to provide emergency assistance including medical care, food and drinking water, essential resources, legal aid and shelter. More organizations will be added to the list in the coming weeks. The funds will reach the organization as soon as possible. They don’t wait for the actual ones to arrive from their platforms and payment partners, which can take some time depending on how the transaction was processed.
All real money purchases made between March 20, 2022 and April 3, 2022 will be transferred. This includes V-Bucks, the Fortnite Team, Battle Pass gifts, and cosmetic packs, such as the Void Arrival Pack, sold for real money. In-game purchases of cosmetic items and V-Bucks cards made in physical stores, if redeemed within the above period, will also be included. Fortnite V-Bucks purchases will not count , as they are not real money purchases.
We also have good news for the fans of the game. Epic Games presents the news that will appear in the second season of the third chapter of Fortnite: Rebellion .
Join the Rebellion in the ultimate battle to recover Zero Point! Try out brand new tactics such as sprinting, climbing, and more. Hop on board the mighty armored combat bus or attach the plow to your truck to enhance your ramming. Take on your enemies in the ultimate battle for Zero Point in Season Two of Chapter Three Fortnite: Rebellion!
Below are some of the most exciting changes waiting for Fortnite players :
- The ability of building has been removed! Overlaps now serve your safety, extra protection beyond health and cover. This is your first line of defense: Nadosłona will be the first to receive arrows aimed at you. It recovers even after it is reset.
- Movement improvements. The battle has changed. Here are the new ways to fight:
-
- Sprint. Run with the new, faster default movement speed. This means the sprint has also gotten faster! It allows you to run so fast that you will have to hide everything you are holding. Of course, keeping that speed indefinitely is impossible, so the new sprintometer will show you when you slow down.
- Climbing. The advantage of heights has always been the key to victory. Luckily, if you start falling, you can grab on to something now. Any surface too high to jump on? Platform too far to land on? Use your hands and pull yourself up!
- Shoulder punch. Speaking of sprint: hit the door at full speed to pry it with your shoulder. It may not be particularly polite, but at least you will look great. From now on, you can also slide into doors and open them like this!
- Bars can change the tide of battle. Ingot financing is back! Spend Bars on Rebel Assist Devices throughout the season, and use them to vote for items to restore.
- New weapons. Combat submachine gun. Like the Combat Assault Rifle and Combat Pistol, the Combat Submachine Gun packs a punch. Master its recoil to make the most of its potential.
- The Striker is a short burst rifle with a modified sight. Hit enemies with this dual-shot semi-automatic weapon while aiming with your scope!
