Marvel Studios has been doing great these days and is clearly not going to slow down. This year alone, mega-productions in the form of Moon Knight , Doctor Strange at Multiwersum Obłędu , Ms. Marvel , Thor: Love and Thunder , Patron She-Hulk (let’s not forget that Black Panther: Wakanda in my heart is approaching ). On Tuesday, we learned of Hugh Jackman’s return to the role of Wolverine opposite Ryan Reynold in the third Deadpool . This information was shared with Elizabeth Olsen during Variety’s Power of Women , to which the actress replied:
I think Wolverine is the X-Main. It would be fun to work with other X-Men people. Sure Fassbender is my dad in some other world?

Olsen most recently appeared in the Multiverse of Insanity , where she fought an interdimensional battle with Professor Charles Xavier. Michael Waldron, the writer of the newest Doctor Strange and Loki , admitted that the multiverse tool in the MCU world may prove to be a double-edged sword, so Marvel Studios should use it wisely. This is an excerpt from SFX Magazine’s interview with Waldron :
The risk is that we can over-expand certain parts of the world and harm ourselves. However, the possibility in the multiverse is to confront the heroes with “What if?” Stories, alternative versions of themselves, or even other characters from their environment. It is an interesting way to reflect on our heroes. In all respects, this forms the emotional core of the story. It has to be. The multiverse is not only MacGuffin (a term for an object, place, purpose, etc. that drives the plot of the film and motivates the actions of the characters – editorial note), where we say “Okay, it’s just a kitschy thing that we play in the movie.” When dealing with alternative realities and with alternative versions of characters, this is what must become the core of emotions, exploring who one could be in different realities, after making different decisions, both good and bad. It’s an emotionally complex affair, and that’s why it’s very exciting for a talented cast like ours.
